Circa 1940. Bright red, all original, Mid-Century Modern, working cigarette machine. This very collectable vending machine is a prime example of a vending machine from the heyday of vending machines, with eye catching color and stylish graphics. It is in all original, "as found" working condition. The last time this machine was in use, cigarettes were 30 cents a pack This particular machine was manufactured so that it could be used in two distinct ways, first as pictured with the actual machine as the top section and additional storage in the base, and secondly, without the base, as a wall vending machine. It is in over all good condition, with some rings in the paint on the top surface. It is in all original red paint with the word "Cigarettes" in raised white letters with the manufacturer's name "Du Grenier" and Haverhill Mass. included in the graphic. The lock is intact but we do not have a key. The base can also be leveled via the adjustable feet. 54 1/4" tall x 18 3/4" wide x 10" deep. Price 795.00
