Rare, heavy ceramic table match striker and holder, advertising a retailer of crystal, faience, and porcelain. "LeGrand-Walle a` Arras". Banded in red, the centre is the holder for the matches, and the ribbed foot is the striker. Measures 75 mm high by 90 mm diameter (3 inches by 3.1/2 inches). Excellent condition. Very early 20th century.
