Carved pipe, made in the Black Forest, and depicting a coiled snake on the stem, with an apple on the tree of the bowl.
Snake has tiny glass eyes. The mouth piece is amber, sadly has been broken and glued. Silver metal band above this.
The case is crimson velvet and silk. It has the tiny screws missing from its hinges. Carving is in excellent condition. Late 19th century.
