Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire tulip spill vase with two putti seated above a scrolled leafy base, either side of a pen holder. Old, dull mercurial gilt decoration and clock face. Good creamy glaze with blue tinge. Generally good. No hairlines. One chip to side of one upper leaf. Minor paint losses to leaves and puttis'' hair. Gilt rubbed. Kiln effects: over glazed shrinkage crack to side of base. Slight staining to reverse of base. Minor kiln soot caught in glaze. Some glaze accumulation. Restoration of bird''s head and one putti''s foot. 12ins high
