Rare Arts & Crafts signed Heinz sterling on bronze 8 piece desk set. The set has a patent date of August 27th 1912 and is marked with the Heinz markings and is also marked Sterling on Bronze. The set consists of a calendar with the original paper inserts. The back of the calendar is incised 1088. the calendar measures 4-5/8 inches wide by 3-5/8 inches high. It has a pen tray measuring 9-3/4 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 3/4 inch high. It has a letter opener measuring 9 inches long and 3/4 inch wide at its widest point. A blotter measuring 5-1/2 inches long and 2-3/8 inches wide and 3/4 inch high. It has a large clip spring loaded measuring 3-1/2 inches long, 2 inches wide at its widest point, and 1 inch high at its highest point. A covered inkwell measuring 2-1/8 inches high by 2-1/2 inches wide by 2-1/2 inches deep. It has its original glass bottle. It has a stamp box measuring 2-3/4 inches long, 1-3/4 inches wide, and 1-1/2 inches high. It has a letter rack with ball feet measuring 4-3/4 inches high to the top of the handle, 6 inches long, and 2-1/4 inches wide at its widest point. This is a matched set, all the pieces are original. The model number is 1088. it is almost impossible today to find a complete set in such nice condition like this one. All of the pieces have inlayed sterling silver flowers adorning the design. This is the first complete set we have seen, purchased, and had the pleasure to offer for sale in the more than 45 years we have been in the antique business. This is a wonderful set in excellent condition that will surely please the Art Nouveau and/or Arts & Crafts collector. (Item #73114)
