19th century Victorian inkwell, French, solid brass, porcelain adjusting level inkwell, Mother of Pearl shell accessory tray on front, finely cast twig, oak leaf and acorn motif, raising double serpents behind well for instrument holder, porcelain well with gilt decoration on blue background/handpainted roses, finely cast cover with spin/adjustable finial to control porcelain float for level of ink in basin.
