This is a darling little egg shaped sewing caddy. Inside is a wood spool with wound thread on it. On top of the spool is a metal cap. Inside the spool accomodates needle and pins, which are not included. The lower half on the back side of the caddy shows enamel missing. Still this is an example of a cute little mending kit at the turn of the 20th century. Condition: fair; Circa: c.1900; Heigth: 2''; Width: .75''
