Large shell-shaped silver plated dish - a fishing tournament trophy from 1985. The trophy was awarded by the Tuna Club for the largest Marlin caught on 50# dacron - weighing in at 206 lbs. (Awarded to Gerald Garrett). Nice quality dish - has the badge of the Tuna Club attached, although this is a surface attachment, and could be taken off. Dish stands on three wave-scroll feet, and has an ornate edge of scrolls and flowers. It measures 40.5 cm by 36.5 cm and stands 5.5 cm high. Excellent condition. Substantial item, heavy.
