Beautiful pair of circa 1800 miniature portraits depicting a gentlemen with a powdered wig and a lady with a powdered wig, with flowers in her hair and at her bust. They are both artist signed. The gentlemen's portrait is signed along the middle right an d the lady's portrait is signed above her shoulder in the lower right as well. The portrait miniatures have a diameter of 1-5/8 inches. They have a metal inner frame and a wood outer frame. The outer frames have a diameter of 3-1/8 inches. Both portrait miniatures and their frames are in excellent condition.
