Antique hand painted miniature portrait of Marie Antoinette signed Lebrun. Set in a brulle turtle shell frame. The frame does have some minor lifting and splitting but all pieces are intact. The painting is set behind convex glass with a ornate brass oval rim. Fram has a green floral fabric backing with a blue /white Harke label attached. A ring is on the back for hanging, there is a nail hole on the top where it may have originally been. I think this is painted on ivory but am just not sure. Frame measures 4 1/2" x 5 1/4" while portrait measures 2" x 2 1/2". Measures are approx. I don't know the age of this painting but I do know It is real and not a transfer.
