Pewter Food Container. Pewter patina. Pewter. The hexagonal shaped container is of hand molded pewter with a threaded cap and handle. The oval handle has a carved, notched design and fits into a ring that is part of the cap. The initials E.M.L.H. and the date 1829 are engraved on one side. Surrounding the date are two engraved feather or leaf designs.
