Britannia Teapot. Pewter patina. Britannia metal. The Britannia teapot is molded in a ribbed-melon form. It has an applied handle and spout. The hinged lid has a knob in the form of a flower bud resting on a grouping of leaves and smaller buds. The pot rest on a circle of scrolling with four leaf-shaped feet. The bottom is marked, "Thomas Otley & Sons, Sheffield, 5204 4 31." It is also stamped with a totem-like figure with the letters MAI beneath.
