An enchanting English Victorian papier mache lap desk. This darling piece features an exquisite intricate mother of pearl inlay. Also with lacquered and hand painted accents. The top folds out to reveal an inside lined with velvet and a small original glass inkwell, c. 1860. All patina is original to the piece and has aged well over time.
