Enameled cabinet vase, Limoges France, 19th century.Measures 4 1/4inches high. Metal with bright blue enamel. A central reserve in front is formed by wonderfully gilded flowers and scrolls that stretch all the way around the vase. The Reserve has a background of light/sky blue and depicts two outstandingly painted cherubs/children, looking into a mirror. Delicate flowers and trees behind them.No signature/marks.The painting and gilding are in very good condition. The darker blue enamel ground appears to have been restored near the top, since the colour is darker, as clearly shown in the photos. Otherwise, no damage.
