Highly reminiscent of the hardstone figures made by Faberge 100 years ago. Early 20th century hand blown glass figure of a musician / trumpetplayer. Bohemian / Chechoslovakian. He is 8'' tall and the diameter of the base is 2 3/4''. Fantastic OLD glass with marvellous play of light. All handblown, handmade by a top artist craftsman. The base is green, much like a millifiori paperweight. Black shoes, grey trousers, yellow shirt, red scarf, high green hat and wonderful, wonderful features. The trumpet / horn appears to have had some kind of professional restoration, not visible to the eye, but has a slight roughness, near the hands, which are however, perfect.
