Circa 1890 Majolica Palissy fish (European freshwater fish, called a Zander) modeled laying on a leaf base. Naturalistically molded. Three stilt marks to underneath of base. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. Tiny shallow chip to underneath of base rim. Small nibbles and flaking to lower base edge and underneath of base. A few flakes to edge of smaller back fin and one flake to left corner of lower jaw. Some wear to underneath of base. Old restoration to upper and lower jaw and both tips of tail fins. 4.75ins high, 11ins wide
