Victorian, circa 1860 Landais French Palissy Majolica wall platter which features fish, shellfish, a frog, fern, ivy and other leaves. Colouration: cobalt blue, green, yellow, are predominant. The piece bears makers marks for the Landais pottery. Book reference not found. Good. No restoration. Chip to fern leaf tip and another leaf tip. Chip to fish fin. Kiln effects: glaze misses under the rim 2ins high, 15.2ins wide, 12.4ins depth
