Circa 1870 French Majolica Palissy oval wall platter decorated with an eel, fish, lobster and shells in a pond in the style of Pull. Leaves, reeds and further shells around the edge on cobalt ground. Green reverse with stilt marks and two pierced hanging hooks. Good. No flakes. Kiln effect: glaze pops to the front. Repair to the rim. Restoration to under rim. 9.25ins by 12.75ins wide
