1939
A large, beautiful carved oak wall plaque by W. Breeveld. While little seems to be known about the artist, he was obviously a master of form and design. The plaque features a woman seated under an oak tree (note the leaves and acorns) on a stool, painting a large vase. Carved signature lower left, "W. Breeveld 1939". The measurement below is the framed size.
