circa: 1890 width: 44 height: 26 length: 3 This gorgeous ebonized oak hanging rack was bench-made in Victorian England around 1890 and recently restored by a third-generation cabinetmaker. Over the years, the ebonized oak has acquired a lovely patina that enriches the wood, producing a rich, lustrous complexion full of charm and character. The carvings look especially striking, with unique tribal figures on either side. Two of the four supports feature plate grooves, while the other two appear to be for additional support for plates and for the frame in general. This ebonized oak hanging rack would make a terrific accent in just about any setting, adding flair and character to your home!
