Unsigned but safely attributed to Peter Ompir is this deep 2'' tray. His horn of plenty studio was at the gates of Old Sturbridge Village a few towns away from us. The plate is from an estate featuring signed Ompir, Peter Hunt and other folk art decorators of the 1940-50''s. Tray is approx 12'' , burnished red with black with a double pear on branch decoration. This decoration I have seen on signed Ompir pieces. Outside of tray has repeating design. Status: For Sale Reference#: 141_3f Condition: good Year: c1950
