Beautiful vintage mahogany tray with plated gallery mountings. Satinwood stringing around a central panel of what could be either sapele mahogany or Australian sheoak (the tray came from Australia). The marquetry panel depicts two birds, possibly Willie Wagtails in foliage. Large item, measures 64cm by 42 cm. There are some cup-ring marks in the surface, a few scuffs and small chips on corners, otherwise very good condition. A very attractive item.
