This listing is for a 19th century bronze of a sophisticated scientist. The bronze measures 17 1/4 inches or 44 cm high. The bronze features a finely dressed young man holding a magnifying glass in one hand and a specimen of flowers in the other. The bronze is has a hand cut nut and stud on the bottom of the base, which attests to the age of the bronze. The bronze is signed on the base in the back, but is hard to read. The bronze has it's original chocolate brown patination or color. It is in excellent condition. The patina is good with no wear.
