Antique Armor Bronze dog bookend , uniquely produced by Armor Bronze Co. Base covered in felt. 7" h. x 6" w. x 3.5" d. Quite Heavy, very good aged, delight patina. Thickly bronze electroplated over a plaster core. Although base has not been examined,research finds that perhaps on base, under felt could be a small depression or not. Apparently this object was costly from production to inception, and did not survive the Depression. They would attract collectors, and most likely a lost art in book end history.
