Circa 1890. Hand carved late Victorian or early Arts and Crafts dark oak picture frame. All original and in excellent original condition, this fine easel type frame features a flowing ribbon carved around the entire frame, finished at the top and bottom center with a decorative carved loop. This frame could be "Black Forest" but I am not sure of its origins. Original glass, wood back and stand. 11 1/4" tall x 7 5/8" wide, the picture opening is 6 3/4" high x 4 1/4" wide.
