Victorian chest of drawers, select mahogany veneers on drawer faces and solid mahogany & fancy carved mirror. This chest has such a nice large mirror that it can easily be used for a dresser mirror as well as bureau. This is an old finish which has been cleaned & overcoated. The mirror & mirror frame were missing but the original fancy carved outer frame was present. Our craftsman replicated the missing section and we purchased a good quality mirror. The chest is approx 48'' wide, 24'' deep with a 30'' high ''deck'' and full height w/ mirror 78''. The top ''deck'' of chest is a fancy swirling mahogany grain, this along with the center of drawer faces are the veneered sections. The rest of the chest is solid mahogany, sides are raised panels, mirror having great carving with fluting etc. Two bails are not the originals, rest of hardware is upper quality and original.
