This is a rare American early 19th century classical two drawer gentlemans mahogany and flame crotched mahogany shaving mirror with its original glass, surface & hardware. Origin: Boston, Mass. circa 1825-1835. This lovely shaving mirror was originally positioned on top of a classical chest. The finely dovetailed drawers are hidden at each end of the mirror. Original period hardware. It has survived in a superb state of original preservation. Mellow rich nut amber patina
