Circa 1902
This small mirror is highlighted by a print of gods and goddesses around a flying chariot in the clouds over a coastal scene. The frame is gilt, and the feet and crowns of the pediments on each side of the mirror are cast brass. A stamp on the reverse of the mirror panel and a sheet of newspaper between the mirror and the backing date this piece to Detroit, Michigan, 1902. The 12" width listed below is for the main body of the piece; the top is 14"w.
