An outstanding French trumeau mirror from the 18th Century. This piece features an extraordinary classical oil painting on canvas depicting two ladies sitting under a tree with a dog. It is signed by the artist, and dated what looks like 1755. The signature is not legible. Overall in remarkable condition for its age, with the original glass and patina that have both aged beautifully. Truly a fine antique! 28W X 56H.
