Here is a sensational French giltwood mirror from the late 19th Century. Outlined in a thick wooden frame, this mirror is in the classic Louis XVI style, all hand carved gesso with a free standing center shell embellished by bouquets and acanthus leaves. A very desirable horizontal mirror for any design, and all original. Circa 1880. 52W X 38H.
