Gilt gesso frame wall mirror. European Continental 19th century. Suitable for hanging above a pier / console table.Measures 33inches high.Rococco scrolling shaped gilt wood frame with befelled glass. Top has bow, ribbons and flowers in high relief. Sides consist of a series of foliate scrolls cut very deep. Chain at the back for hanging.Condition is very good. The mirror has no dark spots/damage of any sort. Very light surface scratches on the frame as to be expected in a piece of this age, in no way detract. Original condition - no restorations.
