Vintage 1920's genuine pewter creamer &
sugar matching set are in great - good
condition. Some minor spots inside the
sugar container, Ribbed sides. Both marked
on the bottom, Genuine pewter.
Measures: Sugar 2 3/4in. tall 5in. From
handle to handle 2 1/2in. deep Creamer 2
3/4in. tall 5in. from handle to pourer 2 1/2in.
deep.
Pewter: Pewter is a metal alloy of tin and
lead. Some of the pewter made after 1840 has
a slightly different composition and is called
Britannia metal. This later type of pewter was
worked by machine; the earlier pieces were
made by hand. In the 1920s pewter came
back into fashion and pieces were often
marked Genuine Pewter
