Impressive antique oak mantel with beveled glass mirror and ionic columns, dating from 1910. This fireplace mantel begins in a squared-off top, moving down to an egg trim shelf that overhangs the mirror. A beautiful beveled glass mirror is flanked on either side by tall and narrow ionic columns. The columns support the upper shelf, moving all the way down to the base of the mantel. Below the mirror extends a shelf with beaded trim that is carried by three decorative brackets. This mantel is in very good antique condition, with a beautiful dark finish and some small holes as pictured. The mantel measures approx. 84-1/2†tall, 59-3/4†wide, and 13-1/2†deep; the firebox opening is approx. 41-1/2†wide and 36†tall.
