Here is an exceptional French Louis XV mantel made up of a very rare marble known as "Noir Belge," or "Belgian Black." It is a traditional form of the period, with scrolled acanthus leaves and shell designs. This piece is in immaculate overall condition and has tremendous decorative appeal.
