Wonderful oak Arts and Crafts mantel, dating from the early 1900's. The mantel features clean lines and a shelf supported by curved brackets. The firebox opening is flanked by extended rectangular columns. On top of each column, directly beneath the brackets, is a simple yet distinctive graphic detailing. The detail consists of a rectangular pattern with a key-hole shaped embellishment below. This mantel has been painted a cheery sky blue, with some visible chipped paint. The mantel is 60 1/4 " wide, 63 1/4" tall, and 11 3/8" deep; the firebox opening is 41 1/2" wide and 45" tall.
