A Rare American pair of Boston Federal period brass firplace andirons, c. 1800, signed J. Davis on the billet bar, in the steeple top pattern, the cabriole legs with spurs and ending in snake feet. Each andiron measures 16 inches high, 15 inches deep and 10.5 inches wide at base. From a CT estate.
