19th century solid brass fireplace fender. This surround measures 48 inches wide outside, 43.5 inches inside, 10 inches high at the tallest point, 12 inches deep outside and 9.75 inches inside. This is a very high quality fender made from heavy solid brass with a cast iron insert.
