Antique Arts and Crafts period bronzed cast iron bookends. This is a very heavy set of bookends made from solid cast iron with thick bronze plate. Both of these matching bookends feature a quote from Longfellow and an image of a Native American Indian. They each measure 6 inches high, 6 inches wide and 3 and one quarter inches deep. These bookends will securely hold heavy books without sliding or tipping over. They weigh 11.2 pounds! Circa 1900.
