Splint Holder on Wood Floor Base. Black patina and stained wood. Wrought iron and carved wood base. The wood base of this floor lamp is hand carved with a tall column fitted into the cross pieces of the base. The wrought iron holder fits over the carved top of the column and is pegged into place. One of the pincers folds over at the top, the other is twisted and forms a graceful curving arm that ends in a hook to hold the heavy iron counter weight.
