Victorian, circa 1880 Pyramid size burmese glass fairy lamp. Pink and cream pyramid size burmese glass dome sits in a molded glass cup, along with a glass candle holder. Fairy lamps originated in England in the 1840''s and are candle burning night lights that would have been used in nurseries, hallways, and dimly lit corners of the home. Maker''s mark ''S.CLARKE FAIRY PYRAMID'' to base of cup. Maker''s mark ''PRICE''S.PALMITINE.STAR.'' to base of candle holder. Good. Minor chipping to inside rim of dome. 3.5ins high, 2.75ins diameter
