Fireman's Tole Wristlet Candle Lantern. Black and Japanned red paint; clear glass. Tin and glass.. This rectangular firemans lantern has three clear glass panes protected by four horizontal wire guards. The sliding back panel retains almost all of its original Japanned red paint and black stenciled design. Inside is a round candle holder. The triangular shaped top has an attached strap handle and has a punched star and sun burst pattern. There is a small ring on the back panel for hanging.
