A extremely fine Georgian bell metal candlestick with a solid, tapered, neoclassical column rising from a beaded pyramidal square base.
The stick has a fine mellow patina and is indeed characteristic of English quality craftmanship at the end of the 18th century. Superb casting with seam construction. Note the underside has been meticulously finished.
A fine addition to any Georgian or modern interior. A must have for those appreciating the finest in quality and style.
