Exquisite antique nude bronze lady symbolic of night, standing proudly as she flies off on an owl holding her torch in her right hand with a crescent moon sculptured at the base near the owl. She is artist signed on the crescent moon Aichele. The quality and composition are superb. It would be hard to find a finer example of this sculpture. She has a beautiful chocolate brown patina. Weight 4 lbs. Height from the bottom of the base to the top of the torch 13-5/8 inches. From the bottom of the bronze not including the specimen marble base she measures 11-1/4 inches high. The owl has a wingspan of 3-1/8 inches. This is a superb bronze in excellent condition guaranteed to please the most particular collector or connoisseur. (Item #72797)
