Superb antique silvered bronze nude signed Calani depicts a beautiful lady tenderly holding her bird. She's beautifully sculptured from all angles of view. The detail and composition are excellent. She actually looks alive. The bronze is inscribed Calani and is mounted on its original rouge marble pedestal base. The bronze is in excellent condition. The base has a miniscule chip on a very small portion of the edge mentioned only for the sake of accuracy. The sculpture measures 8-1/2 inches high not including the base it is 5-1/2 inches.
