Superb antique Vienna bronze Indian on horseback marked GESCHUTZ with a Bergman foundry seal marked on the base on a rock. The belly of the horse also has the Bergman foundry seal and is marked GESCHUTZ. This a very rare antique Bergman Vienna bronze. The intensity of the Indian attacking with his tomahawk was perfectly captured by Bergman in the composition of this sculpture. The sculpture measures 8-1/2 inches high, including the 3/4 inch marble base. The marble base measures 9-3/4 inches long by 5 inches wide. Weight 10-3/4 lbs.
