VIENNESE COLD PAINTED MODEL OF NUBIAN MERCHANTS,
ONE SELLER RIDING A CAMEL IN THE MANNER OF FRANZ BERGMANN ( NAMGREB )
A fine & large Art Deco Vienna style cold-painted figural table lighter in the form of Nubian traders with Camel displaying a large carpet rug, the younger boy wearing a Fez sitting on the camel saddle with the carpet unrolled whilst the older man shows it of in all its splendor.
Circa : 1900 - 1930
7.75 inches (20cm) height x 6.5 inches (17cm) width x 3.25 inches (8.5cm) depth approx
Good overall Antique Condition - the base has been broken down the middle and re-stuck - one side of the rope twist is off and flaking to the cold painted finish mainly to the hat and back of the figure sat on the camel and a bit to the camel's head - please see images - sold as seen but a very nice item needing only a little cosmetic easy repair - lighter untested but appears all present
