Exquisite circa 1800 French gilt bronze clock with 2 cherubs. The clock has a silk suspension movement dating it circa 1800. It has its original pendulum and key, as well as an extra key. The clock is in excellent condition. There are two cherubs seated at the top of the clock. One is holding a writing utensil with his left elbow leaning against a book. The cherub on his right looks at him to get his attention. The quality and composition are exquisite. The clock measures 20-1/2 inches high, 17-1/4 inches wide, and 6 inches deep. As you face the clock, the cherub on the left measures 10-1/2 inches from the top of his head to the tip of his right toe. The cherub on the right measures 10-1/2 inches tall from his right toe to the top of his head. This is an exquisite clock in mint condition guaranteed to please the most particular collector or connoisseur. (Item #72726)
