Antique bronze Victorian period bronze figure of nude mythological man, probably Bacchus or Dionysos, pouring wine from a leather wine holder. Classically styled,on a rectangular stepped marble plinth. Statue is 11" tall, on a 1 1/4" thick base that is essentially 4 1/2" x 11". Dark patina. Not signed or marked. Was appraised on 04/10/2006 for insurance purposes by Appraisers International, Inc. of Palm Beach for $2,500.
