The Antique Miniature Chest of Drawers is handmade of tiger oak wood. What makes this darling miniature chest so exquisite and darling is the beautiful wavy tiger oak grain of the thick oak wood that fronts the outstanding Salesman Sample. The Antique Wooden Chest of Drawers has three drawers with original hand turned wooden pulls. The drawers are hand dovetailed and made of tiger oak. The top of the back is a single piece of tiger oak with a back guard and trimmed in shoe molding. The bottom front has a scrolled wavy apron and the sides are scribed. The Miniature Chest of Drawers is secured with age appropriate nails. The Miniature Chest of Drawers would have been used as a salesman sampler or as a valuables box on top of a full size chest of drawers. The Antique Miniature Chest of Drawers is in excellent, strong and sturdy condition with an age appropriate patina. All of the drawers slide and move freely.
