Fabulous antique papier mache box dating from the 1880's. Rare to find one in such great condition! A very large box, it measures 6.75" square and 1.75" high. The top is hand painted and gilt with Chinoiserie; a domestic scene, mothers and children in a park like setting. The children playing all sorts of games. Utterly delightful and very fine quality work.
